Website clearly states bathroom amenities included but when we got here and asked for shampoo we were told they're not included and they didn't think they had any. Swimming area is tiny and filled with leaves and sticks but you can easily go beyond that area. Having 5 units that are all but isolated from traffic/noise was great for our family reunion!

This is a wonderful place. I stayed in the Blue Heron suite in early spring. It was impeccably clean, and totally comfortable, with delightful organic amenities, It is in the foothills of the Adirondack mountains, on the Great Sacandaga lake. The sunsets over the lake are lovely and the setting is tranquil. It’s an easy and scenic walk to the interesting Village Main Street. The hosts are very welcoming and always available to answer questions and provide suggestions. Look forward to returning often.

We rented all three cabins because we had ten adults and four very young children to house. The kids had a blast running in the field and playing football and frisbee. At night we would have a fire and do fireworks that we bought at the local store. Our oldest grandson caught his first fish in the lake from the dock right on the property. We walked into town one day and and went to the local 5 and 10 store and stopped for ice cream. The only bad part about the whole was when we had to leave. Dont believe me. Book it yourself and make your own memories.OrendagaC U Soon

Great place to stay. Picturesque view on the resovoir where no motorboats are allowed. Private cabins. Great way to experience the Adirondacks. Only drawback is that you want to swim on the reservoir but you dont have a doc to swim too becuase the other two docs on the water belong to the adjacent properties.

We loved the Bluebird cabin. It was just the right size, comfortable beds, porch was PERFECT for coffee or a walk on the dock. It was so nice to have kayaks, firepit and more available. Everything was clean, welcoming, ideal for our family. We had never done a camp before. I'm so glad we found them. My husband has a wheelchair and the Bluebird was just right for his needs, too. We'll be back!

Love everything about this place. Cabins are really clean. I stayed in the bluebird. Fully stocked kitchen and right on the lake. So relaxing and friendly staff. What I love the most is that they use organic products.

Maybe it was the weather, maybe the privacy, or maybe it was just everything working out. But our two night stay was absolutely perfect. My wife and three kids took the largest Orendaga cabin which was splendid and worth every penny. The colour scheme was beautiful, the fixtures and details were perfect. The visit was so amazing I called to rebook a week later after my workshop in Boston, but they were already sold out, which was not surprising due to the time of year. I also recommend a family restaurant at the four corners, as well as the grocery store open late every day. We're booking this again next year.

Such a lovely, comfortable, well cared for and quiet place to stay. Loved the chic cottage décoré, the large lawn with giant spruce trees, and the cute dock. My husband and I really enjoyed our relaxing stay here. Would definitely visit again.
